Students Were On Their Toes During All The Activities . Shabad And Kavishri Recited By Students Created A Divine Ambiance In Campus. On the auspicious eve of Gurupurab that is birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji, SGPS campus was filled with spiritual aura. On this pious event students of SGPS exhibited their devotion in different forms. Assembly was inaugurated with traditional style of campus that is by reciting Shabad. Students along with their virtuoso mentors created spiritual atmosphere. Students of class X A played a vital role to make this auspicious event cherishable. A devotional speech related to life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was delivered by two students. Thoughts, quiz, news and poems were special day more memorable. One of our little champs from class V B recited a brilliant poem “I Bow to Guru Nanak Again and Again” that provided sublime experience to one and all present there. Our navigator of the flagship of knowledge i.e our unparalleled Principal Sir enlightened the students by recalling the ten teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and showered his blessings to students on this mega event.

Children's Day Celebration Once again the campus of SGPS had a great experience on the occasion if Children’s Day which comprised enthralled and surprising performances. Our bosom buddies from Junior Wing spelt bound everyone with the magnetic Fancy Dress Competition. The confidence of these little champs was on its zenith. All the participants performed exceedingly well and successfully conveyed their message through their marvellous performances. Electrified dance performance of students from all the houses hypnotized the Judges and spectators with their energetic moves and dance steps. Glimpses of Punjabi culture and heritage were brilliantly exhibited by students with their Punjabi Folk songs. These Folk songs provided unparalleled ecstatic person present there. Declamation was also an integral part of this competition in which competitors shared their innovative notions on burning issues such as: Environment versus Growth, Eradicate Corruption from society and Cyber, Space and Internet-blessing or Curse to human civilization in the long term. Students of class XII also showed their great enthusiasm by presenting a dance performance. At the last, Honourable Judges declared their fair and square judgement and winners were on cloud nine at this cherish moment. Dynamic Principal Sir distributed prizes to the winners and appreciated the endevours of student as well as their mentors. It was really a memorable day for all the Shahidians.

The 72nd Independence Day was celebrated with fervour. The Tricolor was hoisted by the Principal Sh. Sanjeev Jain with the National Anthem playing in the background. Students presented cultural programmes which included speech, dances, songs, group song etc.
